What are the basic system requirements?
inLOGIC is a web-based application that doesn’t require any installation or hardware to run. Also, it is constantly being tested on the latest versions of web browsers like Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. To run the application properly, you should have a properly functioning web browser with a stable internet connection.

What resources are available for users’ self-directed learning?
We are providing various types of training resources online which include. Everyone should have access to a number of training videos like How-To Series, Case-Study Series, Downloadable User Guide, etc. via the application as well as the website.

How long does it take to implement inLOGIC?
As far as configuration is concerned, it varies depending on the learning curve experienced by the users who are going to be responsible for the configuration of the system. Through inLOGIC’s Simple Setting feature, however, it could take as little as 20 minutes.

Do I have to learn Java Script to use inLOGIC?
No. inLOGIC did adopt script language at some level, but it is easy to learn. Through watching a couple of demo videos, everyone can learn how to write rules and conditions a lot more quickly.

How many compensation periods can I create?
Depending on the type of package you have purchased, you should have the option to have at least one or unlimited number of period you may require. For further information about the packages, please visit our website. For Free Demo users, we provide an environment which you can create one compensation period per account.

Why do I get a red exclamation point warning?
The system warns you when there is an invalid data entry or a program exception. If it does not disappear even after you take the corrective actions, please contact our support team immediately at support@inlogic.ca.

What is the difference between Field Labels and Field Variables?
Whereas a Field label is a format to be displayed on Graphical User Interface (GUI) for end users, a field variable is a format for the system to communicate behind the GUI. Usually field variables take the camel case format in its naming convention like this:

fieldVariables : Compounding each word beginning with a capital letter except the first word that always starts with a lower case

Lookup is a term that is broadly used in inLOGIC application. A Lookup in rule writings is interchangeable with Quota, Target, Performance Standard, etc. in general. There are two types of Lookup, one is Payee Lookup and the other is Plan Lookup. In order to find out the differences, please watch our short video here.

Why do Payee, Transaction, and Reference tables look empty when logged in for the first time?
inLOGIC is designed to specifically serve your unique needs in administration of your compensation plans and policies. Upon sign up, you are required to configure the system according to your business requirements.

Why don’t I get a confirmation email after signing up?
Please check your Junk E-mail or Spam email folders.

When it seems like you are not receiving any confirmation email with activation link, it is highly likely the email falls under Junk or Spam mailbox. Please make sure to add websupport@inlogic.ca to your address book, so that you don’t miss out any important notifications and/or information. If it didn’t solve your issue, please do not hesitate to contact us.
